Drinking with a view – what’s not to love?! Liverpool has many and varied drinking spots, but there is a severe lack of panoramic bars from which you can guzzle your G&T, despite the potential for fantastic views over the city. But fear not! A sky bar is on the scene in the brand new INNSiDE Liverpool Hotel, set to open in August on Old Hall Street.
The Spanish hotel company, Melia Hotel’s International, is launching its newest UK venture on the old Liverpool Post and Echo site. The hotel will include over 200 rooms (including townhouse suites and a condo), and there are even rumours that Gino D’Acampo will be fronting their restaurant.
However, the star of the show is most definitely going to be the 18th-floor panoramic bar, named 360 Sky Bar. It will be open to non-residents, and visitors will be able to sip cocktails and enjoy the view while listening to the sounds of resident DJ’s.
The hotel (and bar) will provide a much-needed boost to the local neighbourhood after a tough 12 months. So raise your glass and drink in the view!
