The Joker Will Be Screened With a Live Orchestra At The Philharmonic

Orchestra

If you loved the film Joker, you will not want to miss this! In November, the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall will be screening Joker accompanied by a live orchestra – cool, huh?. The full symphony orchestra will bring composer Hildur Guðnadóttir’s beautiful score to life in a not-to-be-missed performance.

Alongside Joaquin Phoenix’s Academy Award for Best Actor, Guðnadóttir’s score scooped its own Academy Award for Best Score in addition to a Golden Globe and a BAFTA, and it’s easy to see (or hear) why. It perfectly complements the uneasy, tense and sometimes disturbing atmosphere of the film with its sweeping melodies and imaginative orchestration.

There is nothing quite like hearing a symphony orchestra play live, so if you want to experience Joker in all its glory on the big screen with the added benefit of hearing the soundtrack played live (imagine surround sound times one hundred!), then hurry to get your tickets before they all disappear.

Joker Live in Concert will take place on Tuesday 2nd November at 7.30 pm at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. For more information and to book your tickets, please visit;  https://www.liverpoolphil.com/whats-on/all-shows/joker-live-in-concert/3944
