The stunning River Of Light Trail, which recently lit up the city, will make a welcome return later in the year. The collection of 11 illuminated art installations has proved popular with Liverpudlians, with plenty of people visiting each evening to enjoy the 2km loop of stunning art.
Due to Covid restrictions, visitors from further afield have not been able to enjoy the display, but Liverpool Council recently confirmed that it would be returning in the autumn to light up those dark autumn nights. The display covers Castle Street, Pierhead, Liverpool One, and the Albert Dock and includes a spectacular, very fitting, gigantic rainbow and a 3D rotating moon. Hopefully, many more people will enjoy the delights of the trail later in the year, and precise details will be announced in due course.
