Get ready to bust some funky moves and don those leg-warmers! Liverpool’s first roller-skating facility is getting ready to open its doors in May, thanks to the Invisible Wind Factory. From Saturday, May 22nd, the Liverpool venue will be transforming itself into a rollerdome with an interplanetary disco theme, complete with laser grids and a giant floating spaceship. Excited much?

They will be offering fitness classes and special events every week in collaboration with skaters, promoters and artists and will welcome skaters of all abilities, from beginner to advanced. One of the first collaborations is with Liverpool Disco Festival who plan to host a series of events under the banner ‘United Skates’, featuring live music and DJ’s.

And it doesn’t just stop with the roller-skating! There will also be street food, a cafe, a bar and skate hire. Invisible Wind Factory aims to provide a completely new experience where exercise meets audio-visual in a never-before-seen way.

A spokesman from IWF says;

“After a year or more away, we want to offer people the ultimate dance floor to return to.”

So dig out those neon leg-warmers and get yourself to Invisible Wind Factory this May!
