Who doesn’t love the Bombed-Out Church? How about the Bombed- Out Church with films, food and drink? Yes, please!

For two weeks this summer, The Independent Liverpool cinema show will be taking over the Bombed-Out Church to screen some classic films, 14 to be precise. From 16th-29th August film lovers will be able to enjoy screenings of films such as Grease and When Harry Met Sally, in beautiful, covid-secure surroundings.

It doesn’t stop there. If you are partial to watching a film with a drink in hand, then the fully stocked gin bar is there to fulfil your needs. As well as gin, it has an ample selection of beer, prosecco and spirits. If you feel a bit peckish, there will be a local street food trader on hand serving tasty treats.

Tickets are £12 per person, and there are two screenings each evening starting at 5 pm and 8 pm. All screenings are for over 18’s only (yay!). It will go ahead whatever the weather, so bring a waterproof if the weather looks unpredictable!
