A new photography exhibition has been unveiled at Liverpool ONE which documents the journey that Liverpool and its residents went on during the pandemic. Covid-19: Liverpool’s Journey was unveiled on Friday 25th June and shines a light on the amazing dedication that frontline workers and volunteers demonstrated throughout the pandemic. It also celebrates the impressive mass-testing and vaccination effort that has taken place across the region.

Organised in partnership with Liverpool City Council the exhibition is situated on Thomas Steers Way and will run until the end of the summer. Photo’s include food parcels being prepared, snapshots of care home workers and children’s pictures thanking the NHS. Heartwarming stuff.

The exhibition will also highlight the ways in which Liverpool is playing its part in the countries post-pandemic recovery and the easing of restrictions. Events such as ‘The First Dance’ – the country’s first post-pandemic club night – highlight how Liverpool is ahead of the game in easing people back into real life after a pretty rubbish year.

So if you’re out for a bit of retail therapy in Liverpool ONE why not swing by the exhibition and remind yourselves how awesome our city is.
