Liverpool’s First Shipping Container Venue Has Just Opened!

Box Yard Liverpool

If you’re looking for somewhere new and funky to chill out and have a few beers and maybe a bite to eat, then Box Yard on Great Howard Street could be the answer to your prayers.

This quirky new venue is constructed out of shipping containers (in-keeping with Liverpool’s rich trade history) and boasts a well-stocked bar, street food, booths, a soon-to-be-opened roof terrace and a great programme of live events featuring local and international acts and DJ’s.

The owners of this cool new venture are James Daly (founder of Jaly Concerts) and Kev Odger, a top techno promoter. Between them they have a wealth of experience and connections which they are bringing together to provide a stunning programme of events over the summer. These include Locura on 3rd July, Vadella on 10th July and Estilo on 31st July.

There are themed quiz nights every Wednesday and they also welcome interest from local promoters who would like to utilise the venue. Big screens will be showing all the latest actions from the Euro’s and their Gin N Juice Hip Hop event and Sunday Brunch Party are already proving hugely popular (get your tickets while you can!).

Located on Great Howard Street near Bensons Signs, Box Yard is one of a number of new and exciting venues popping up in North Liverpool. The north of the city is fast becoming the place to be for a night out. So what are you waiting for? Get on down to this funky new venue before everyone finds out about it!
