Visitors to the legendary Mathew Street in the Cavern Quarter now have a new venue to enjoy a pint in – a rooftop bar, no less! Located above the popular watering hole, McCooley’s, the rooftop bar has seating for 150 people and will be open at weekends and bank holidays over the summer.
McCooley’s has been a popular spot for food and drink since opening in 2017, and the rooftop bar will be a welcome new addition for punters. Visitors not only be able to enjoy their drinks in the sun but will also be able to watch the UEFA Euro 2021 games while catching a few rays.
McCooley’s and their sister venue in Concert Square have fast become Liverpool institutions since opening and are popular with the Irish community, students and visitors alike. So if you fancy a pint of Guinness in the sun this summer, get yourself down to Mathew Street.
