Confirming what Scousers already know, Liverpool has been named by The Sunday Times as one of the best places to live in the North West. Liverpool is one of eight locations in the North West featured in The Sunday Times annual ‘Best Places to Live Guide’, with Altrincham clinching the top spot as the regional winner.
The guide is compiled by a panel of experts who consider several factors, from broadband speeds and schools, to parks and culture. Aigburth was singled out for a special mention, describing it as ‘sensible but never boring’.
The judges considered many elements when deciding on their verdict, including whether a place demonstrated community spirit, something that has proved essential during the recent lockdowns and which Liverpool has by the bucketful!
