Anyone heading to Crosby Promenade and beach over the summer will be able to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat with a difference. ‘The Bus Yard’ is a double-decker bus with a pop-up bar on the ground floor and a rooftop terrace where you can drink in the beautiful views while enjoying a cheeky beer.
Food comes courtesy of a mobile kitchen container which will be cooking up tasty treats to enjoy with your drinks. There is also some fenced seating outside to accommodate more people. Good job, as it’s bound to be super popular.
Sefton Council were keen to bring something new to the area that wasn’t just a bog-standard food van. The Bus Yard is far more than that, offering premium beers and cocktails in addition to some scrummy food.
The Bus Yard takes pride of place on Crosby Promenade between the beach and the lake at Crosby Lakeside. It is open from 12-8pm seven days a week, and the owner’s initial plan is to try it out for 28 days, so get in there quick!
