Remember when we could travel further than the end of our street? Those were the days, eh? With the end of lockdown in sight, the opportunity to travel slightly further afield will soon become a reality. With this in mind, five northern cities have joined together to encourage people to get out and about in the North (when it is safe to do so, of course).
Liverpool, Manchester, Hull, Leeds, Newcastle (and Gateshead) have joined together to promote the ‘North of England City Experience‘ with a new rail ticket that will make exploring these cities more straightforward and affordable than ever before.
The TransPennine Express Rover ticket will enable people to flit between the five cities for just £99. You’ll be able to start your journey in any of the five cities and travel to any (or all!) of the others on any four days over an eight day period.
