Liverpool Without Walls is returning this summer with a brand new mission to fund outdoor events and festivals in the city. The fund was a lifeline for the hospitality sector during the pandemic and it is hoped the Without Walls New Festivals Fund will have the same positive impact on the entertainment industry in the city.
Creatives can submit their ideas for new festivals and outdoor events and bid for amounts up to £20,000 for their project. The aim is to re-imagine Liverpool as a stage, give new performers a chance to showcase their talent and encourage audiences back into the city.
If you have a cool idea that you think would benefit from funding you have to make sure that it meets the following criteria;
- Only Liverpool-based organisations can apply
- The event must take place outdoors and take place by 31st March 2022.
- It must be in person – online events are not eligible.
- Sports, political and religious events are not eligible.
- The event must adhere to any Covid-19 guidelines in place at the time.
- The fund is not open to those who already receive financial support from Liverpool City Council.
